Ludia Labs · R&D, AI methodology, and accelerators

Ludia Labs.

Where the AI Implementation Methodology lives, the vertical accelerators get built, and the Innovation Committee work with Microsoft Engineering takes shape. The R&D arm of Ludia, on the same delivery model as the commercial practice.

What it is

The work that lets a small US team move at the pace of a global SI.

Ludia Labs is the part of the firm that does not sit on client billing. It runs the AI tooling that compresses our implementation timelines, builds the vertical accelerators we reuse across engagements, and carries the standing relationship with Microsoft Engineering. It is the answer to the question "how does a senior US team cover the ground a fifty-person partner would need?"

The work moves between three threads. One: methodology — the AI Implementation Methodology that compresses discovery, requirements, and configuration without compressing the senior thinking. Two: products — vertical accelerators we build for industries we know cold, packaged for reuse across customer engagements. Three: the Microsoft Engineering Innovation Committee — the standing forum where real customer scenarios feed back into the Dynamics 365 roadmap.

Three threads

What the Labs ships.

  1. 01

    AI Implementation Methodology.

Five phases, applied to every commercial engagement that exceeds a certain scope. The methodology is how a senior consultant covers 2-3x the ground without trading quality — AI handles the read, the synthesis, the first-draft architecture; the senior architect reviews, edits, and pushes back.

  2. 02

    Vertical accelerators and ISV products.

Internal IP for the industries we know deepest — heavy equipment, energy, AEC, professional services. Built on Dataverse and the Power Platform. In use across our active engagements; packaged for AppSource where the strategy is product-led.

  3. 03

    Microsoft Engineering Innovation Committee.

Standing relationship with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 product engineering team, established 2023. Real customer scenarios feed into roadmap conversations; roadmap visibility comes back into our engagements months before the broader partner ecosystem sees it.

Why a Labs arm at all

Because the alternative is offshoring the leverage.

Every Microsoft partner faces the same trade. As engagements scale, somebody has to multiply. The default answer in this industry is to hire offshore and route the volume through a delivery factory. The senior architect on the sales call ends up four management layers from the team on the standup. Quality drops in a way the buyer feels at month six.

Ludia Labs is the alternative. AI takes the leverage. People do the work that lasts. The Labs work funds itself indirectly — through faster, better commercial engagements — and it keeps the firm small on purpose. We have made the bet. The Labs is what makes the bet possible.
